Honeywell has equipped its industrial label printer PD45 with a minimum of mechanical inner parts and a metal frame structure. As such, it as a robust, compact and slim appearance and is ideal for the various work areas in production, retail, logistics and healthcare. It creates labels at a maximum print speed of 200 mm/sec. at 203 dpi or 100 mm/sec. at 300 dpi.

Further equipment of the PD45 includes a powerful 800 MHz Arm Cortex-A7 processor, 128 MB flash and 128 MB DDR3 SDRAM. The industrial print head supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer print modes and may be easily switched and replaced. Also, the patented dual-sensor positioning technology from Honeywell supports dynamic positioning, which ensures a minimum label height of 5 mm and a vertical positioning accuracy of 0.5 mm. Two sets of adjustable pressure bars and double media guides ensure accurate paper feeding and help avoid wrinkled ribbons and printing dirt. To cover even more application scenarios, the PD45 additionally features peeling, rewinding and cutting assemblies.
